Town ‘n’ Country, Florida is a census-designated place (CDP) of around 85,000 spread out over about 24 square miles. It is located in Hillsborough County and was once a dairy farm until it was suburbanized in the 60s and 70s.

Precipitation is fairly evenly spread throughout the year with the wettest months being in winter and early summer. During late spring and early summer, the region can see violent thunderstorms with severe thunder and lightning storms, torrential rain, hail, and tornadoes. In addition, remnants from Gulf hurricanes can sometimes affect the area with heavy rain and high winds.
