Pueblo, Colorado is a city of around 105,000 spread about an area of about 45 square miles. It is the seat of Pueblo County and the most populous city in the county. Pueblo is home to several large events including the Colorado State Fair, the National Street Rod Association’s Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals, and Wild West Fest, which is sponsored by the Professional Bull Riders.

With a humid continental climate, Pueblo has hot summers, cold winters, moderate humidity and violent thunderstorms. Snowfall can be low to moderate but blizzards are known to affect the area. During late spring and early summer, the region can see violent thunderstorms with severe thunder and lightning storms, torrential rain, hail, and an occasional but rare tornado.
