Plano is served by US-75 on the east and on the west by the Dallas North Tollway. On the south, motorists can take the President George Bush Turnpike or to the north they can utilized the toll-road SH-121. Main thoroughfares in and out of the city include Preston Road and SH-289.
Public Transportation
Due to its proximity to Dallas, Plano utilizes the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) providing light bus service as well as two commuter rail lines, which provide access to other parts of the Dallas area.
