Kenosha, Wisconsin is a city of around 98,000 spread about an area of about 24 square miles. It is the seat of Kenosha County and is the fourth-largest city in the state. Kenosha has a humid subtropical climate as such the city is accustomed to mild winters and hot humid summers. Precipitation is fairly evenly spread throughout the year with the wettest months being in winter and early summer. During late spring and early summer, the region can see violent thunderstorms with severe thunder and lightning storms, torrential rain, hail, and tornadoes.
